NAM1 is urging Menzgold customers to pay GHC650 in order to have their transactions verified, leading to eventual payment.
The CEO of the now-closed gold dealership company, Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1), who is currently facing challenges, has suggested that customers should consider buying a Menzgold Digital Verification Access Card priced at GHC650. This card would serve the purpose of authenticating their transactions.
Nana Appiah Mensah, the embattled CEO of the now-closed Menzgold gold-dealership, commonly referred to as NAM 1, has advised customers to consider purchasing a Menzgold Digital Verification Access Card priced at GHC650. The primary purpose of this card is to authenticate their transaction records.
In a statement endorsed by NAM 1, it was indicated that this verification card would enable "customers who believe they have legitimate claims related to transactions to review the status of their transactions."
Customers who had dealings with the defunct gold-dealership and are interested in validating their transactions are urged to submit genuine, colored soft copies of documents supporting their transactions between August 10, 2023, and September 14, 2023.
The statement highlights the necessity of this action due to the fact that "more than sixty percent (60%) of the claims they have received have been marred by unacceptable violations that render the said claims null and void."
As per the CEO's explanation, this step is intended to facilitate a thorough assessment of customers to whom the company owes debts, prior to initiating any disbursements.
The statement additionally includes a cautionary note for customers who opt not to complete the verification procedure, stating:
"Customers who choose not to undergo this procedure run the risk of forfeiting their alleged claims, as their entitlement to claim will be relinquished due to their failure to fulfill their responsibility."
